The Career Guidance Programme was conducted for Grade 12 students in Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary on 30.11.2023. Dr. U. Krishna Kumar Dean And Director of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi Campus graced the programme being the speaker of the day. The programme exactly began at 9.15 am in Amriteswari Bhavanam with traditional lamp lighting ceremony by the speaker Shri. Krishnakumar and The Principal S. Vidya Sankar. It was followed by Amma’s Dhyanosloka. Secondary in charge Smt. Sigappy formally welcomed the chief guest and introduced him to the students. The speaker shared the ways to achieve success in the field of education. He explained about the various salient features of Amrita vishwa Vidyapeetham and the role of the teachers in the life of the students. He explained about the scope for the careers in Humanities and Commerce, school of Computing, Arts and Physical Sciences.
Dr.P. Balasubramanian Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and Management and Vice Principal explained about the scope for Commerce in the present world. Dr. S. Dinesh Babu Assistant Professor and Vice chairperson , Department of Visual Media and Communication explained the scope in the field of journalism and mass media clearly to the students. The queries of the students were cleared and explained well. The programme ended with vote of thanks and Shanti Mantra.
