Amritavarsham : A Day of Health and Awareness
Amritavarsham 70, Sevanana vaaram fourth day was dedicated to health and awareness. The event featured a free health camp in collaboration with Kovai Medical Center Hospital on Avinashi Road, Coimbatore, with specialist doctors in General Medicine, Gynecology, and Ophthalmology offering health advices and ECG services. Mrs. Sigappy, Secondary Coordinator, welcomed the doctors and their team. As the second part of the program, an Organ Donation Awareness Campaign, involving class 11 and 12 students, was conducted. Dr. Viswakumar Prabakaran MBBS, MS, MRCS (Edin), FRCS (Edin), an esteemed medical expert, served as Chief Guest, creating awareness about organ donation. Around 250 recipients benefited from this health and awareness initiative, showcasing Amritavarsham’s commitment to students and social welfare.
