Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary school, Mangalam, celebrated 77th Independence day, which is themed as 77th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav with great enthusiasm on 15th August 2023. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons to commemorate the day. All the students, teachers, non-teaching staff and parents gathered in the school premises at 8.30 a.m. The programme started at 9.00a.m followed by a prayer..Dr. M. A. Manikandan Ph.D, Director of KPR International Centre, KPR Global Edu Tech, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Arasur, Coimbatore presided the programme . Nikil Vaibav of Grade IV welcomed Chief Guest and all the members present for the function. The Chief Guest Dr. M. A. Manikandan Ph.D, hoisted the Flag and flag song was sung. The Principal of the school Mr. Vidhyasankar gave an enthusiastic speech. The Chief Guest Dr. M. A. Manikandan Ph.D, gave a solemn speech to pay homage to the brave martyrs of the country. The students Vasumithra. P of Grade V, Sanjana of Grade IX and Sneha Prajapathi of Grade V gave inspiring speeches in Tamil, English and Hindi respectively.
Various cultural programs such as silambam, karate, yoga and patriotic song were held . As a part of the occasion drawing activity was organised for the students on 14th August 2023. There were parents who attended the whole programme along with their children. The vote of thanks was given by Saparni. S of Grade X. The celebration ended with Shanti Mantra and National Anthem at 10.30am.

திருப்பூர்: ஆகஸ்ட்- 15 மங்கலம் அமிர்தவித்யாலயம் பள்ளியில் 77 வது சுதந்திர தின விழாக் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. இவ்விழாவானது குத்துவிளக்கினை ஏற்றி இறை வழிபாட்டுடன் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. பார் போற்றும் நம் தேசியக் கொடியை நமது சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் KPR பொறியியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவன இயக்குனர் டாக்டர் M. A.மணிகண்டன் Ph. D அவர்கள் ஏற்றிவைத்தார். நாட்டுப்பண் இசைக்கப்பட்டு தேசியக் கொடிக்கு மரியாதை செய்யப்பட்டது . பின்பு வரவேற்புரையை ஐந்தாம் வகுப்பு மாணவன் நிக்கில் வைபவ் வழங்கினார். அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் அவர்கள் மாணவர்களுக்கு நாட்டுப்பற்றினை ஊட்டும் வகையில் சொற்பொழிவாற்றினார். அமிர்தவித்யாலயம் பள்ளியின் முதல்வர் திரு. வித்யாசங்கர் ஐயா அவர்கள், ஆளுநர் நிகழ்த்திய உரையை அனைவருக்கும் எடுத்துக் கூறி நம் நாட்டின் பெருமையையும், சிறப்பையும், வளங்களையும் பற்றி மாணவர்களுக்கு உரை நிகழ்த்தினார். மாணவர்கள் தங்களின் நாட்டுப்பற்றை வெளிப்படுத்தும் வகையில் சொற்பொழிவும் கலைநிகழ்ச்சிகளும் நடைபெற்றது. நிறைவு நிகழ்ச்சியாக பத்தாம் வகுப்பு மாணவி சபர்னி நன்றியுரை வழங்கினார். அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து சாந்திமந்திரம் இசைக்கப்பட்டு இனிப்பு வழங்கி இவ்விழா இனிதே நிறைவடைந்தது.
