75th Republic Day of the nation was celebrated with much enthusiasm in Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary, Tirupur on 26/01/24. The celebration began with lamp lighting ceremony which was followed by Amma’s Astotharam. Sampuja Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri the senior most disciple of Sadhguru Matha Amritanandamayi presided over the function. Swamini Bakthi Priya, Correspondent Amrita Vidyalayam , Tamilnadu and Puducherry, Sawmini Niranjana Amrita Prana, Manager Amrita Vidyalayam Tirupur and Erode, Swamini Muktamrita Prana, Manager, Amrita Vidyalayam, Ettimadai, Kalapatti and Nallampalayam, Shri.Muralidharan, Educational Officer, Amrita Vidyalayam, Tamilnadu and Puducherry, Shri.Marudhachala Moorthi, President, Mangalam Panchayat graced the function being the dignitaries on the dias. Smt. Sigappy, Senior Secondary Coordinator, welcomed the gathering. Shri. Marudachala Moorthi, President, Mangalam Panchayat unfurled the Tri color flag and that was followed by flag song and National Anthem. Sampuja Swami addressed the gathering about the significance of Republic day and differentiated Independence day from Republic day to the students. Shri, Marudhachala Moorthi, President Mangalam Panchayat in his speech ensured the respect to be given to Dr.Ambedkar who was responsible to frame our constitution which is the world’s largest constitution. Syri .S.Vidhyasagar, Principal, Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary declaimed President Draupadi Murmu’s speech given on the eve of Republic Day. He quoted her words in which she had asked to remove the hurdles and unleash the potential. Selvi. Harshika of Grade 11 gave an inspiring speech in which she asked the listeners to renew their commitment towards the nation. Shri. Muralidharan, Educational Officer, Amrita Vidyalayam, Tamilnadu and Puducherry, in his speech helped the audience to feel proud as he recalled the Nation’s Republic Day Celebration at the nation’s Capital which is presided by Mr.Emmanuel Macron, The President of French Republic.He cited few impossible events which were made possible by India. The school choir sang a patriotic song, which stimulated the patriotic feel for the nation. The school band troop demonstrated a display which was a spectacular scene to watch.Grade 9 & 11 students danced with Lezim and enchanted the gathering.Smt.Kasturi, Headmistress, Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary, Tirupur, thanked the gathering and sweets were distributed.The 75th Republic Day Celebration of the nation in Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary, Tirupur ended with Santhi Mantra.
